Winners of the 2008 Cable's Leaders in Learning Awards were honored during a gala event on Wednesday, June 18th, 2008 at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

Cheryl Seals, Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Dr. Cheryl R. Seals, a district administrator for the Okaloosa County School District, will be honored with a 2008 Cable’s Leaders in Learning Award at a ceremony Wednesday, June 18th at the Library of Congress. Seals is being honored for her work with the “Academic Excellence Society” (AES), a collaborative effort between local schools, parents and community members to strengthen the academic portion of a student’s school experience.
