This prestigious awards program, in its 5th year of operation, is administered by the cable industry and its national education foundation, Cable in the Classroom.

Cable in the Classroom, the cable telecommunications industry's nonprofit education foundation, and cable industry partner companies, created the awards program which is now in its second year. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges from the national education community.

Cable in the Classroom, along with cable operators and cable programmers, has been bringing new technology and dynamic content to students since 1989. Cable in the Classroom seeks to foster the use of cable content and technology to expand and enhance learning opportunities for children and youth.
